2023 Online Meet the Assessors - Literature

Description

VATE’s annual Meet the Assessors is your chance to hear from those responsible for managing the assessment of the VCE English, EAL, English Language and Literature examinations as they unpack the 2022 examination results, share student responses and respond to questions from delegates. The sessions will take place online and are scheduled on different dates to facilitate participation across the state and to allow delegates to attend multiple sessions particular to their context.

Given the change to the Literature examination in 2023, the Literature session will include a breakdown of Section A with a specific focus on the transferrable skills, a breakdown of Section B, as well as an explanation of the specifications for the Literature examination in 2023 with attention to the links between the incoming Study Design and the new exam to be delivered by VCAA Chief Assessor, Margaret Saltau.
