2020 VCE Literature Mini-Method

Description

Whether you are already teaching Literature, or will be in the future, the Mini-Method is a great way to refresh your perspective and learn more about how to teach the course. Run from July to October, this course prepares you for teaching Units 1, 2, 3 and 4 in 2020. From the first session, which focuses on the differences between VCE Literature and VCE English, through to the final session, the Mini-Method seeks to demystify the Literature course. The presenters, experienced VCE Literature teachers and assessors, will focus on developing your knowledge and skills across the Units. For each Area of Study, the presenters share their expertise in what students enjoy or find difficult, how you can best support their learning, and some useful activities and resources for building analysis and interpretation skills. All sessions are recorded for online listening and for access to notes.
